Catania, Italy - November 2020 - The Salesian Province of Sicily, having at heart the parents and family members of the Salesians, has been carrying out various activities for some time. On November 25, on the anniversary of Mamma Margherita, the same group, which is beginning to become more consistent in numbers and participation, officially wanted to start its animation work with the motto "We are Family" with some sharing initiatives, such as the creation of a special WhatsApp group and the dissemination of a video-message of reflection and thanksgiving on the theme “Diary of the Salesian Family - between Don Bosco and Mamma Margaret”. Other initiatives planned for this year, coordinated by Fr Alfredo Calderoni and the Garufi family, will be the videoconference of the Cerchio Mariano on 8 December featuring the message of the Provincial Fr Giovanni D'Andrea, moments of prayer and formation in preparation for Christmas, and the days dedicated to the rediscovery of Salesian holiness in Sicily, following the models of Nino Baglieri, Mother Maddalena Morano, Cardinal Guarino, and others.

Cotonou, Benin - November 2020 - The 25th year of the foundation of the Salesian "Foyer Don Bosco", belonging to the French-speaking West Africa Province (AFO), was celebrated on 24 November. The Salesians of Cotonou and Porto Novo gathered together with Fr José Luis de la Fuente and Fr Gérard Blesgraf, co-founders of the "Foyer Don Bosco", Fr Aurélien Ahouangbe, current Director, and the children of the center for a day of celebration.

Rome, RMG - November 2020 - On 18 and 19 November, under the guidance of Fr Alfred Maravilla, General Councilor for the Missions, the online meeting with the Provincial Delegates for Mission Animation of the East Asia-Oceania Region took place. The meeting, through the Zoom platform, brought together 17 participants from Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Vietnam and Rome. Also present were Fr George Menamparampil, Coordinator of the Mission Offices, Marco Fulgaro, lay collaborator, Fr Pavel Ženíšek, Head of missionary volunteers, and Fr Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc, Councilor for the East Asia-Oceania Region. Some important words guided the meeting such as: animation, coordination, volunteering, accompaniment and solidarity. To enrich the meaning of these words was the sharing of challenges, questions, hopes and the will to move forward, together, as a Region.
