Mumbai, India - November 2020 - The "Don Bosco Development Society", the Planning and Development Office of the Salesian Province of Mumbai (INB), in recent days, through its various partners, has reached 900 poor families in the state Gujarat Indian. Food, cleaning items and hygiene kits were distributed. The initiative has benefited families of ethnic minorities living in the hills and forests of the region and families of the lower classes living in various villages and cities. The project is supported by “Don Bosco Mondo”, the Salesian Mission Office of Bonn, Germany, and by the “Conrad Family”, Germany.

Freetown, Sierra Leone - November 2020 - The Salesians of “Don Bosco Fambul” conducted a workshop entitled “Youth4Life” on 20 November on issues concerning the well-being and integral development of young people in Sierra Leone. During the event, which was attended by ten schools in Freetown, various topics were touched upon, including: ecology and the need to preserve the ecosystem; taking care of animals in their environment and stopping unnecessary killings; the importance of the gift of one's life and the adoration of God; the presentation of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) and the importance of learning a trade by attending one of the "Don Bosco Fambul" courses.

Anisakan, Myanmar - November 2020 - On 24 November in the headquarters of the Salesian Vice Province of Myanmar (MYM), four Salesians were ordained deacons by the Archbishop of Mandaly, Marco Tin Wiin. The ceremony was concelebrated by Fr Charles Saw Thi Han Lwin, Superior of the MYM Vice Province, and by various Salesians.
