Canlubang, Philippines - July 2020 - On July 5, in Canlubang, the Salesian Antonio Josef Rodriguez, belonging to the Northern Philippines Province (FIN), made his First Profession at the Diocesan Shrine of Mary Help of Christians. The Mass was presided over by the Provincial of the FIN Province, Fr Gerardo Martin, SDB, and concelebrated by several Salesian priests. At the end of the celebration, the Salesians donated a statue of Don Bosco and Mamma Margherita to the family of Antonio Josef Rodriguez.

Ypacaraí, Paraguay - June 2020 - The visit of Fr Mario Villalba, Salesian Provincial of Paraguay, to the Salesian community of Ypacaraí ended with a Eucharistic celebration. During the visit, which began on Wednesday 24 June, Fr Villalba had the opportunity to meet his Salesian confreres, aspirants and novices. At the same time, he held virtual meetings with the School Council, with the President of the Student Center and with the representatives of the associative groups.

Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo - July 2020 - On 3 July 2020, at the Provincial House of Lubumbashi, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Provincial, Fr Albert Kabuge, distributed anti-Covid-19 protection kits to all the communities of the Province. Each kit contained glass masks, masks and temperature meters that will help protect the Salesians, their lay collaborators and young people from the dangers of contagion. On this occasion, it was thanks to the Salesian Mission in Madrid, the "Misiones Salesianas", to the Rector Major and to all the benefactors who supported the initiative.
