RMG – New logo for DON BOSCO IN THE WORLD Foundation

21 January 2021

(ANS - Rome) - The new year has brought a new logo for the DON BOSCO NEL MONDO Foundation - an organism of the Salesian Congregation which has as its purpose the promotion, support and development of Salesian Works and Missions in the world, which has its offices at the Salesian Headquarters in Rome, and which publishes "The Salesian Bulletin", the magazine founded by Don Bosco and sent free of charge throughout the world.

The new logo is a symbol of a constant and committed presence towards the needy. It was born taking as inspiration the image of the postage stamp as a symbol of the journey, of the distant places of the earth, where the Salesian missionaries are the beating heart of the engine of renewal.

The reasons behind this choice were illustrated by the managers of the Foundation: “That stamp that we look forward to receiving with news from our missionary friends, which we keep as a precious reminder of those places and testimony that our help has reached its destination. A memory that despite the digital age survives and accompanies us, makes us feel close to the missions we help and to all those young people who, thanks to our support, are able to take over the reins of their lives and become aware and committed citizens like Don Bosco liked to say: 'Good Christians and upright citizens'”.
