The video interview that introduces the reading and sharing of this part was made in the Salesian house "Borgo Ragazzi Don Bosco", located on the outskirts of Rome, on Via Prenestina. Speakers included: the General Councilor for Youth Ministry, Fr Miguel Ángel García; Nicoletta Goso, head of the "Rimettere le Ali" area, part of one of the three educational pastoral communities that make up the "Borgo Ragazzi", at the forefront since its origins in the service of children facing greater difficulties; Fr Daniele Merlini, Director of the Salesian house, which also includes the pre-novitiate of the Central Italy Circumscription; Renato Cursi, who grew up in "Borgo Ragazzi", and is now executive secretary of "Don Bosco International", that represents the Salesians of Don Bosco at the institutions of the European Union in Brussels.
The stimuli offered are many and all serve as an invitation to reading and sharing, both as religious and as members of the educative-pastoral communities. There are about 40 pages that can truly help to reach full harmony with the shared mission and formation, one of the goals that the last General Chapters strongly indicated as an inescapable path to the future for those inspired by Don Bosco and want to make his charism and the mission alive today. It is in fact the sixth of the eight points of the Rector Major's programmatic proposal to the Salesian Congregation after GC28: “Together with the laity in mission and formation”.
