Also present at the meeting were the two Provincials of the Central Africa Province (AFC) and of the Vice Province of Africa Congo Congo (ACC), respectively Fr Guillermo Basañes and Fr Manolo Jímenez; Fr Edouard Kinsamba, AFC Provincial Economer, and members of the local community: Fr David Mubenga, Rector, Fr Dieudonné Besa, Vicar and Director General of the Institute, Fr Dominique Kubuya, Economer of the community, and Mr. Cyprien Mbuangi, administrator.
Gathered together for over four hours, all of them discussed important issues concerning formation in general and the post-novitiate in particular, which currently hosts 80 young Salesian philosophy students and 8 permanent formators.
In the second half of the day, Fr Coelho and Fr Owoudou held an assembly of all the Salesians in the community to learn about and listen to the needs, desires and concerns of the young people in formation. This moment of fraternal dialogue was followed by the prayer of Vespers and the sharing of a moment of agape.
