On this occasion, following the itinerary proposed for the meetings of the first semester, there was a dialogue on the themes of communication and strategic planning of the NETWORK, focusing on how to develop effective communication to convey institutional identity and then start working on a communication and dissemination plan for the network. For this work, Zaida Navarrete, head of communications in Central America, presented several central points on the importance of communication in any educational institution or work.
Regarding the network's operational activities, there was testimony from the Salesian Social America Network (RASS) team, that shared with the participants the steps they have taken so far as a network and the challenges they are currently facing, emphasizing the necessary mutual collaboration between institutions and the joint work that exists on the continent at various levels of educational and pastoral animation. From their testimony, it clearly emerged how the link among Salesian networks in America is a fundamental issue.
The meeting also included group work and plenary sessions to deepen the objectives, lines of action, and evaluations of the operational plan that will guide the Network in the second half of the year and the coming years.
