(ANS - Rome) - Today, 31 January, on the occasion of the Feast of St. Giovanni Bosco, the new official publication of the Salesian Congregation called "Salesian Bulletin OnLine" is being inaugurated and officially launched, accessible to anyone at the address www.donbosco.press

It is a publication that is addressed to the Salesian Family, benefactors, collaborators, and all people of goodwill.

It wants to make known the good that is done in the field of caring for children and young people, while at the same time fostering a bond between the members of the Salesian Family. It wants to show the facts which have borne fruit and which can serve as an example; it wants to present living testimonies of the Salesian charism and it wants to invite others to do the same.

The topics covered shall revolve around Don Bosco, his charism yesterday and today, Salesian works old and new, the history of Don Bosco and the Salesian Congregation, the messages of Don Bosco's Successor, the Rector Major, the missions, the Salesian Family, the cult of Mary Help of Christians, Salesian holiness, significant Salesian figures of all times and places, education and the world of youth, spiritual life, the good press, and current religious and Catholic issues.

It aims to disseminate Salesian historical discoveries, successful Salesian initiatives, and other facts and people from around the world.

"Hoping in all these propositions to collaborate with the whole Salesian world, we entrust this new beginning to the protection of St. John Bosco, on the day of his birth to Heaven, and to the patron saint of the Congregation and of the press, St. Francis de Sales," says Fr. Andrei Munteanu, Director of BSOL.

Who then concludes, "We wish you a good and fruitful reading of these our pages."
