Following the work done in previous years by the network management team and the provincial representatives for the VTCs to create the network and formulate the guiding document that justifies and sustains its existence, this meeting served to enrich perceptions of the identity and mission of Salesian work-training institutions. Furthermore, through the contextualized contributions of the participants, an attempt was made to contribute to the Congregation's global reflection on this area of mission, jointly and collaboratively consolidating a proposal for work education that responds to the signs of the times, in the Salesian style.

In developing the work, inter-departmental teams were formed to reflect and answer questions pertaining to the 4 pillars defined for the development of the network:

- ORIGINALITY AND IDENTITY of the VTC: defines the characteristics that make the educational environment unique and distinguishable by the specificity of the mission it carries out;

- EDUCATIONAL PASTORAL COMMUNITY: as the new subject of educational responsibility and the educational environment, assumes co-responsibility for the development of the mission;

- EDUCATIONAL PASTORAL PROPOSAL: Embodies the educational intentions of the environments, giving a sense of unity to respond to the context in which it is framed;

- ORGANIC PASTORAL ANIMATION: Determines how the educational proposal is operationalized through animation. It is used to define the strategies that will be developed in VTCs to ensure that their mission reaches the target groups.

At the end of the meeting, members emphasized the importance of developing the formation and animation of the VTCs in tandem with the work of the network, and shared their expectations for future work, making a commitment to spread the word of the network's existence.

Now the challenge concerns the management team, which will proceed to consolidate and analyze the contributions received in the assembly, to generate the proposed identity of Salesian VTCs, supporting the updating of the Framework for Youth Ministry and ensuring the relevance of the interventions that the network conducts in favor of effective management and integral development of the subjects of the mission.
