The Counselor's first activity was the meeting with "ARTESBOL", namely the "Association of Salesian Radio and Television Stations of Bolivia", whose purpose is to produce content and messages for all of the country's Salesian works.
His second activity was participating in the Salesian Communications meeting; lasting 4 days, it was attended by 65 Salesian communicators. The meeting's aim was to reflect on the work of the communicator through radio programs, social networks, documentaries and all the many activities developed to announce Jesus.
"Communication was an essential part of Don Bosco's vision as it is today for Pope Francis," said Fr González. "Communication is the encounter between people, it is the quality of human relations, given in the attitude that it used, and through the media, through social networks that have become a source of instantaneous sharing and communication."
"The Province of Bolivia is very active and very committed to the field of communication, which embraces the apostolic, educational and entertainment dimensions, but above all, it is people meeting through the media," continued Fr González. "Today, I am in your midst on behalf of the Rector Major, to encourage the communicative work done on radio and, through these, with the communities. I hope that social communications will be integrated into the Provincial Organic Project as a dimension born in Valdocco, born with Don Bosco ... I hope there is unity and collaboration between Social Communications and Economics, with Youth Ministry and Formation. Remember that the only reason for communication is to give glory to God and to obtain the salvation of young people."
