The Congress animated a group of 1,200 participants from the Salesian world, who listened and pondered the profound message of the X Successor of Don Bosco: "In the Salesian Family, if Marian devotion is lacking, we are not the Salesian Family (...). The Marian dimension is essentially charismatic for us and it is so for the whole Salesian Family."
Argentina – Rector Major's intervention and homily at VIII International Congress of Mary Help of Christians
(ANS - Buenos Aires) - During the VIII International Congress of Mary Help of Christians, held in the city of Buenos Aires from 7 to 10 November, the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, offered his presentation and homily at the end of the Congress: "I was asked to close these days and I want to offer a summary of what I believe should be taken into consideration in our Marian journey and as a Salesian Family."
