(ANS - Rome) - The Salesian Family, that vast movement of persons dedicated to the salvation of young people in the following of Don Bosco, is a living organism, which has taken on an increasingly central role in the consideration and apostolate of the Congregation. The Rector Major's reference to the Salesian Family in the closing address of the General Chapter, in this sense, is truly significant: “The Salesian Family, together with the reality of the mission shared with the laity, will be the point of arrival and the guarantee of the Salesian mission ... This is an essential charismatic element, much stronger today than in Don Bosco's time ... This is why I invite you to continue to believe in the Salesian Family.”

(ANS - New Rochelle) - “Salesian Missions”, the Salesian Mission Office of New Rochelle, has joined humanitarian organizations and countries around the world in commemorating the International Day of Peace, which is celebrated every year on 21 September. The General Assembly of the United Nations declared the International Day of Peace as a day dedicated to fostering the ideals of peace among all nations and peoples. This year's theme is "Shaping Peace Together" and invites everyone to celebrate the day by spreading compassion, kindness and hope in the face of the global pandemic.

(ANS - Turin) - "Dream and make people dream". This is the motto of ADMA's XXX Marian Day held in Turin on Sunday 20 September with about 400 participants including adults and young people. A somewhat special day, because it was marked by the handover of the animation of the Association from Fr Pierluigi Cameroni to Fr Alejandro Guevara. An atmosphere of celebration and gratitude marked the event, with moments of participation and emotion, such as the delivery of a beautiful photo album and Marian stoles. Renato Valera, President of ADMA, coordinated the day, underlining how Mary Help of Christians always accompanies the Association.
