Nice, France - November 2025 - On the weekend of 15 and 16 November, the Rector Major, Fr Fabio Attard, made an Animation Visit to Nice to commemorate the arrival of the first Salesians in France. The celebrations had already begun last spring, but now, as the exact anniversary approached, it was the Successor of Don Bosco himself who was present. With this brief visit to Nic, a few days after the completion of the official celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the First Salesian Missionary Expedition, the Rector Major has thus given a new and encouraging sign of care and attention towards the Salesian missionary memory.
