(ANS - Seville) - The vocational project "Ven y verás" (Come and See), the guiding thread of the last 12 months of the Salesian Province of "Spain-Mary Help of Christians", and which aims to focus Salesian Youth Ministry in this perspective, continues to be active and to encourage the development of a life project among young people. This commitment, which proceeds together with the efforts of the whole Church and of the Salesian Congregation, also in the light of the seminary on vocational animation held in Sanlúcar la Mayor (Seville), opens the way for the recipients of Salesian action to find their way to be Christians and to be accompanied towards discovering their specific vocation: lay, marriage, priesthood or consecrated life.

The Provincial Commission for Vocation Animation continues its coordination work. The team sees the presence of Youth Ministry Delegate, Francisco José Pérez, and is coordinated by José Miguel Núñez, and includes the Salesians Jorge J. Reyes, Francisco Jaldo, Pepe Alamán and Manuel Hurtado.

The aim is to continue to promote a vocational culture in pastoral settings, encouraging the vitality of the campaign throughout the Province.

The commission therefore continues to promote the dissemination of the Provincial Plan for Vocational Animation (PIAV) with strategies and methodologies that improve the presence of animators in the houses and centers by the members of the team and increase responsibility in the accompaniment of young people and the quality experiences. for discernment.

For this year, as part of the "Ven y verás" campaign, several meetings have been organized, which received an excellent reception and invited the participants to discover the dream of God on each of them.

The work to consolidate the experience of the "proposed communities" and initiatives to make this experience visible, together with the "Bebe" project, are also continuing.

This path also includes the welcome to the novices of the year 2018-2019 at the Salesian international novitiate "San Luigi Versiglia" of Genzano di Roma: José Manuel Fernández Viana and Ismael Ebenecer Ndigii, who completed the pre-novitiate at the "Bartolomé Blanco" center in Seville.

Further information is available at www.ven-y-veras.com, a showcase for the vocational offer, with many resources and opportunities for Salesian communities, the recipients of educational itineraries of faith, schools, youth centers, the parishes and educators of any pastoral environment.

Vocational animation does close its doors. A new course and journey begins, with a dynamism that will not stop.
