(ANS - Sao Paulo) - In the final days of May, the Provincial of Brazil São Paulo (BSP) celebrated the expansion and improvement of various facilities of the Salesian University Center (UNISAL), which will benefit both the students of the center and the local population.

On May 22, in the Salesian Campus Liceu Campinas, UNISAL Sao Paulo, the new Michele Rua Building and the Integrated Service Core were inaugurated. The new facilities offer new workrooms, library, classrooms and spaces for the practical activities of that unit, which stretches for 3,000 square meters. In the Integrated Service Core, students of Law, Physiotherapy, Pedagogy and Psychology, supervised by teachers in each area, will be offering advice and services to citizens in need - an invaluable service for the local population.

On May 24, another UNISAL Campus, São José, inaugurated the laboratories of Electrical Engineering, Geology, Hydraulics, Soil and Materials Sciences. The workshops were dedicated to Don Juvenal Zonta, who lived at the "São José" School for many years; he started the Technical School which later became the current university campus.

In addition to staff and students of the Salesian Center of Campinas, the Rector of UNISAL, Don Ronaldo Zacharias, and all the Vice-rectors of the University Center, were present at both inaugurations.
