(ANS - Santiago) - Along with the start of this year's second semester lessons, the opening ceremony of the new Learning Resources Center (CRA, in Spanish) took place on Wednesday, 2 August, at the "Silva Henríquez" Catholic University (UCSH). This is a new opportunity that is integrated within the Library and Resources for Information Department, and is designed to strengthen the teaching/learning process and to promote the quality of education.

(ANS – New Rochelle) – On July 28-29 a high-level consultation to finalize the “Framework” intended to assist the functioning of the office of the Salesian representative at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at New York took place at the provincial house in New Rochelle.

(ANS - Copacabana) - The Second Provincial Missionary Congress took place from 26 to 29 July in Copacabana, a town near the city of Medellín, Colombia; its theme: "As the Father sent me, so I send you."
