Sri Lanka – Inauguration of High Tech IT Lab
Narammala, Sri Lanka – April 2024 – 27th April 2024 marks the blessed day to inaugurate the High Tech IT lab at Don Bosco Institute of Higher Vocational Education Metiyagane, Narammala with the blessed hands of Rev. Fr. Paul Sajeewaka SDB, Vice Provincial of LKC. He prayed and blessed the Lab and laptops. As the world is running fast and improving in advanced technology. As Salesians working in the field of education and serving young people in education. The Salesian Community of Don Bosco Institute of Higher Vocational Education Metiyagane, Narammala inaugurated the high-tech Computer Lab to facilitate the student of Sri Lanka and especially of the Institute. Technical education was given by Don Bosco to his young pupils to help them to become good Christians and honest citizens. To follow the footsteps and example of their founder Don Bosco, Rev. Fr. Viyan SDB (Rector) and Rev. Fr. Manjula Priyantha SDB (Principle) are working day and night to facilitate the young people in education. They have worked hard to make this computer lab. The community is thankful to Rev. Fr. Roshan Miranda SDB (Provincial Superior LKC) and Rev. Fr. Viraj Chamara SDB (Provincial PDO office) for all their financial support.
