Oaxaca, Mexico - October 2019 - As part of the Extraordinary Missionary Month promoted by Pope Francis, the “Campo Cagliero” took place from 4 to 6 October in the missionary zone of the indigenous Mixes communities of Oaxaca, where the Salesians belonging to the Mexico City Province (MEM) have been present for over 50 years. Starting from the theme "You and I, from the same root", the 80 participants of the "Campo Cagliero" lived, shared and reflected on the cultural diversity and the world view of the Mixes culture, and interacted with the families of the Tlahuitoltepec, Matagallinas and Totontepec communities.
