Mogofores, Portugal - October 2021 - The 35th Pilgrimage of the Salesian Family to Mogofores took place on 24 October. Fr José Aníbal Mendonça, Superior of the Salesian Province of Portugal (POR), welcomed the 300 pilgrims of the Salesian Family. Subsequently, Fr Álvaro Lago spoke on the theme "With Mary we bear witness to Love" and, later, the Eucharist was celebrated in the shrine presided over by Fr Mendonça, concelebrated by 16 priests. After lunch, the pilgrims carried the statues of Mary Help of Christians and of Our Lady "Mother of Cana" in procession through the streets of Mogofores from the square of the shrine. Back at the shrine, they received the blessing with the Blessed Sacrament and joyfully participated in the renewal of the promises of the members of the Salesian Cooperators and ADMA. Finally, the 35th pilgrimage of the Salesian Family concluded with the words of thanks and encouragement by Fr Mendonça.
