India – The Human Resource Development Congress Honors the “Don Bosco Tech Society”
Mumbai, India – February 2025 – During a prestigious event held at Taj Lands’ End Hotel in Mumbai on Monday, February 17, the World Congress for Human Resource Development (HRD) awarded the “Don Bosco Tech Society” the "Excellence in Skills Development" award. Receiving the award on behalf of the institution was Fr. George Mathew, Executive Director of the Don Bosco Tech Society. The recognition celebrates the organization's success in training 469,864 young people across 66 professional sectors in 29 states of India, achieving an impressive 72% employment placement rate for its graduates. The Salesian institution was honored for embodying the spirit of transformation, turning adversity into opportunity through skills development. The Don Bosco Tech Society continues to expand its impact, improve training methodologies, and contribute to India’s national agenda for a skilled and self-sufficient workforce.
