Gabutu, Papua New Guinea – August 9, 2025 – Don Bosco Technical School, Gabutu, began its Ruby Jubilee celebrations marking 40 years since its founding. The opening festivities featured a motorcade of over 50 vehicles traveling through the city to raise awareness of the anniversary, themed “Grateful, hopeful, and youthful 40 years.” The program included games and community engagement, with past pupils and supporters joining along the route. The celebrations will continue until September 27 with events such as Family Day (August 10), Gratitude Day (August 12), Career Path Day and Bingo (August 13), Solemn Mass (August 15), Concert (August 16), Past Pupils Day (August 17), Major Raffle Draw (August 31), Cultural Show (September 6), and a Corporate Dinner (September 27).
