Madagascar - Victoire Rasoamanarivo Catholic School Launches School Olympics

Ankililoaka, Madagascar – October 2025 - On October 1, Victoire Rasoamanarivo Catholic School in Ankililoaka opened its School Olympics, coinciding with the Feast of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus. The event fostered joy, unity, and hope, bringing together students, teachers, parents, and staff. Inspired by Don Bosco’s holistic educational approach, the initiative promotes solidarity, friendship, and self-improvement through sports. Students were divided into teams representing continents: Madagascar (Africa), Italy (Europe), Japan (Asia), and Brazil (Americas), symbolizing global fraternity. Competitions include team sports like football and volleyball, as well as individual events like relay races and long jump. Highlighting values such as perseverance and mutual respect, the games will continue throughout the year, culminating in the Feast of Don Bosco in January 2026.
