Maram, India - October 2025 - In a significant step towards narrowing the gap between education and employment, the AIDA-Don Bosco  job placement network in Dimapur, supported by the Don Bosco Job Placement Network, organised the first job fair at Don Bosco College in Maram on 28 October. The event received an enthusiastic response, with many young people taking part in interviews and talks with five companies. By the end of the event, half of them had already been selected for positions throughout India, marking a promising start for regional employment initiatives. The fair was attended by prominent personalities from the Salesian and academic worlds, as well as recruiters from various sectors. Fr Roy George, SDB, Executive Director of AIDA-Don Bosco  expressed his enthusiasm for the event, congratulating the organisers and calling this collaboration “an important step towards realising the professional aspirations of young people”.
