Rwanda - Don Bosco Muhazi Celebrates St John Bosco with Faith, Culture, and TVET Graduation
(ANS – Muhazi) - Don Bosco Muhazi celebrated the feast of St John Bosco with a well‑attended programme that brought together students, educators, parents, and local authorities. The celebration opened with a solemn Eucharistic Mass presided over by Fr Frederic Murindangabo, Director of Don Bosco Muhazi and Vice provincial, alongside the Parish Priest of Gishaka, during which the sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation were administered. The festivities continued with traditional dances, a theatrical performance, and the presentation of certificates to graduates of vocational and technical programmes in Masonry, Culinary Arts, and Tailoring, including participants in the “Gender Matters for Green TVET” project supporting young women and young mothers. Graduates expressed gratitude for the skills and certification received, highlighting their positive impact on livelihoods and future prospects.
