Colombia – Salesians of Don Bosco and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians launch Pastoral Plan 2026-2028 ‘Come, discover, live: a journey with Christ’

10 March 2026

(ANS – Medellín) – The Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) of Colombia have launched their new joint Pastoral Plan 2026-2028, presented with the motto ‘Come, discover, live: a journey with Christ’. The plan invites young people and educational and pastoral communities to embark on a process of personal encounter with Jesus, understood as a dynamic journey of discovery, growth and experience of faith. Inspired by the charism of Don Bosco, the initiative aims to accompany children, adolescents and young adults so that they may recognise the presence of God in their lives and discover their vocation in today's reality. In this way, Salesian pastoral ministry continues to promote a formative process that integrates education, evangelisation and accompaniment of the new generations. The pastoral process is presented as a spiritual and educational journey, in which each stage seeks to awaken curiosity about the faith, deepen knowledge of Christ and strengthen a living experience of the Gospel. Through educational, parish and social works, the SDB and FMA renew their evangelising mission with a language suitable for young people, promoting experiences of faith, community and service. The Salesian Family continues to accompany young people on this journey of faith in the style of Don Bosco.
