Coacalco, Mexico - November 2019 - On November 19, at the Salesian novitiate "Sacred Heart of Jesus" in Coacalco, Fr Ignacio Ocampo Uribe, Superior of the Mexico City Province (MEM), blessed the renovated homes of young Salesian novices. Later, on the same day, the Provincial went to Santa Julia, Mexico City, accompanied by the members of the Provincial Council, to bless the new building of the Provincial House of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of South Mexico, in the presence of Mother Yvonne Reungoat, Mother General of the FMA.
Valencia, Venezuela - November 2019 - The Salesians of Valencia celebrated the 125th anniversary of Salesian presence in Venezuela on November 22. The Eucharistic celebration at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians was presided by Msgr. Reinaldo del Prette, archbishop of Valencia, with the participation of students, youth, lay collaborators of the mission, members of the ADMA, "Damas Salesianas" and Past Pupils. Among the various moments of sharing and fraternity, there was the exhibition of the Musical Band of the "Don Bosco College" of Valencia, which with its 124 years since its foundation, was recognized in 2008 as "artistic and cultural heritage of the State of Carabobo."
Nairobi, Kenya - November 2019 - The "Don Bosco Boys' Town" in Nairobi celebrated the XXXIV Diploma Awards ceremony, which this year went to 145 students of their technical and secretarial courses. Numerous guests also took part in the ceremony entitled "Technical education for economic self-sufficiency."
Indianapolis, United States - November 2019 - From 21 to 23 November, over 20,000 young people from 145 dioceses across the country gathered in Indianapolis for the National Biennial Conference of Young Catholics. Present at the event were the Salesian Family of all four Provinces of the United States and Canada of the Salesians and of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, who prepared the event by seeking innovative ways to involve and evangelize young people and bring them closer to God in the style of Don Bosco. In this year's edition, the Salesian Family was present in the Reconciliation Area of the "Sacred Space" and with a stand at the "Global Village", a multi-activity area of the exhibition hall.
