Vatican – On August 27, Consistory for Canonization of Blessed Artemide Zatti

(ANS - Vatican City) - On June 23, the Bulletin of the Holy See's Press Office made public the calendar of Celebrations presided over by the Holy Father Francis in July-September 2022. Among them, on Saturday, August 27, in St. Peter's Basilica, at 4 p.m., the Papal Chapel will be held for the Ordinary Public Consistory for the creation of new Cardinals and for the vote on several Causes of Canonization.

The Most Eminent Cardinals, the Most Excellent Archbishops and Bishops, and those attending the Consistory, will be asked to cast their votes regarding the Canonization of Blessed Artemide Zatti, Professed Layman of the Salesian Society of St. John Bosco (1880-1951), of whom the Holy Father Francis authorized last April 9 the promulgation of the Decree super miraculo.
