In this way, Bro. Fernando Saade will be the first Salesian brother in the Congregation to carry out this service of animation and governance.
Bro. Saade is 43 years old. He did his initial formation in Argentina (Funes, Rosario), his practical training in the city of Formosa, and his specific formation for Salesian brothers at CRESCO, in the San José community in Guatemala. He then continued his pastoral work in the communities of Formosa, Santiago del Estero and Concepción del Uruguay. In 2016, he joined the Provincial Council as Delegate for Youth Ministry for the ARN Province, a post he held for six years. In 2020, he participated as Delegate to GC28 and is currently finishing his degree in Social Communication at the Pontifical Salesian University.
‘We wish Brother Fernando a fruitful experience of accompaniment to the Salesian community and to the entire educative and pastoral community in Concepción, which has a school with all educational levels, a vocational training centre, the parish, the Salesian Youth Movement groups, various groups of the Salesian Family and the festive oratory,’ commented Fr Gabriel Romero, Councillor for the Southern Cone America Region.
