During the meeting, speeches by Fr Michal Vojtáš, Fr Giuseppe Biancardi, Eliane Anschau Petri, Fr Silvio Roggia, General Councillor for Formation, and Fr Jesús Manuel García highlighted the methodological value of Fr Giraudo's approach, based on an integrated reading of the sources and their contexts. The collected essays, constructed according to this paradigm and including pedagogy, catechesis and Salesian spirituality, represent a significant contribution to nurturing dynamic and current research on Salesianity. The volume, also available online from LAS, is thus not only a tribute to the professor, but also a living resource for scholars and educators.
Promoter of the initiative, in collaboration with the Institute of Spirituality of the UPS, was the Centro Studi Don Bosco (Don Bosco Study Centre), which now makes available on its website the integral videos of the speeches, offering a further opportunity to explore the themes and contents that emerged during the event.
