Brazil - Young people begin formative phase of Aspirantate

Campo Grande, Brazil - February 2020 - From 13 to 17 February, the meeting of young people who started the Aspirantate experience took place at the retreat house of the "São Vicente" Institute. The 14 participants lived moments of prayer, sharing and human and Christian formation, with the aim of preparing themselves for new experiences in the Salesian communities in which they will carry out the vocational experience of the Salesian aspirantate. The aspirants come from the indigenous missions of Meruri, Cuiabá, Corumbá and Campo Grande. In addition to them, six other young people of the Xavante ethnic group from Barra do Garças are present in the Aspirantate.
