(ANS - Bangalore) - "Working on the margins, and especially among street children, helped me stay productive in my missionary life. I learned so much from them." So says Fr George Kollashany, a Salesian of the Bangalore Province in India. Since 1975, he has been working with poor children. With them, he has attended "the best school of life".
(ANS - Antananarivo) - In recent weeks, international agencies have reported cases of violence in the great "Red Island" of Madagascar, including also some acts of violence against consecrated persons. There have been assaults, theft and violence against religious and volunteers, and even the murder of a priest. "The chorus that is heard from many parts is that today, Madagascar is no longer what it used to be. That says it all." (ANS - Manaos) - Fr Sławomir Drapiewski was sent as a missionary to a wonderful corner that nature has given to Brazil: Manaus.
