Contratación, Colombia - August 2021 - Fr John Jairo Gómez, Salesian Provincial of Colombia-Bogotà (COB), visited the Salesian presence in Contratación, a municipality in the mountains of Santander, from 23 to 26 August, in an atmosphere of joy, fraternity and closeness. His presence in the Pastoral Educational Community, his meetings with the young people, Salesians, and lay people who are co-responsible for the mission were indeed motivating. The visit was also an occasion to celebrate 206th birthday of Don Bosco and the anniversaries of priestly ordinations and religious life. Contratación is a town steeped in Salesianity, where Don Bosco's charism has been present for over 100 years.
