Gwangju, South Korea – January 2024 – The gymnasium at the Salesian school in Gwangju hosted  the 56th edition of the on Bosco" basketball tournament from 12 to 14 January, the first after a long pause imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The sporting event was attended by about 350 young people from three different cities in South Korea, accompanied by more than 100 volunteers. Particularly valuable, moreover, was the contribution of the Salesian Cooperators, who saw to serving meals throughout the tournament. Fr Kim Bonaventura, President of the tournament, thanked all the participants and volunteers, announcing that the event will be held every year from now on, with the hope of increasing participation.
