Tshikapa, DR Congo - December 2025 - Students from the MOLK Don Bosco Technical, Industrial and Vocational Institute in Tshikapa Luime, on 5 December, celebrated National Tree Day with the theme proposed by the Ministry of the Environment: “One tree, one life: restoring our forests for a sustainable future”. The celebration began with a lecture that gathered 250 students in the main hall. The speaker, Mr. Gabriel Bukasa, invited the young people to participate in God's creative project by taking care of the environment and planting trees to reforest and revitalise our ecosystem. Afterwards, the group went to the fields to plant several trees. In his closing speech, the director encouraged the young people to engage in the struggle for a healthy and liveable environment for all.
