The video presents the themes explored in this year's Salesian Mission Day (SMD) booklet on integral ecology with exhortations from the Rector Major and Pope Francis to care for the Common Home.
The SMD proposes an engaging mandate, a common itinerary involving all Educational-Pastoral Communities with the same enthusiasm that Don Bosco instilled in his boys.
"All of us can act to be an active part, responsible, that looks at, loves and cares for Creation in all its aspects, not because of a new age tendency, but by conducting a life in the light of the Gospel," they explain from the Missions Sector. "Learning from Jesus and Don Bosco, we can pray, observe and plan, help young people to have a missionary heart and mind, and finally, verify how much our missionary projects have made individuals and the community grow."
Hence, the invitation issued by the Missions Sector is, "God is calling us: let us respond to Him promptly together."
