The meeting, organised by the Provincial Youth Ministry team, sought to strengthen the synergy between the various areas that drive the Salesian mission in the country.
The central focus of the activity was on Priority 4 of the Overall Provincial Plan (OPP), which aims to ensure that educational and pastoral management proceed hand in hand, in a joint and cohesive manner.
To achieve this objective, participants utilised Design Thinking methodologies and conducted an in-depth analysis of the national education system, enabling them to move from theory to the development of action plans approved by the assembly.
The gathering, however, was not merely a forum for technical planning, but also a place for fraternal encounter. The participants emphasised the importance of using innovative tools to tackle shared challenges, as well as the value of working together in a coordinated manner.
In this regard, one of the coordinators present remarked: “The most valuable aspect was not merely drawing up the calendar of activities together, but realising that the work of the Schools Network is strengthened when we use tools to address shared challenges. For 2026, we are setting out on a clear path.”
For his part, one of the Directors present at the meeting highlighted the opportunity for dialogue between the various provincial formations: “I believe it is important to meet the other teams, find common ground and work on specific aspects with the commission.”
The day concluded with a sending Eucharist, a fitting moment to recall that every administrative and strategic effort has as its ultimate goal the service and integral good of young people in each of the Salesian communities.
