Ciutadella, Spain - October 2025 - On 25 and 26 October, Fr Fabio Attard, Salesian Rector Major, visited the Salesians in Ciutadella, on the island of Menorca, in the Balearic Islands, Spain. It belongs to Spain’s Mary Help of Christians Province (SMX). This was an institutional meeting, which took place within the framework of the closing ceremonies of the 125th anniversary of the Salesian work in Minorca. The Rector Major was accompanied by the Councillor for the Mediterranean Region, Fr Juan Carlos Pérez Godoy, and the Superior of the SMX Province, Fr Fernando Miranda during the visit, which involved several meetings, celebrations and opportunities for exchange. Fr Attard was able to meet members of the Salesian Family, educators, young people, Church representatives and civil authorities, sharing moments of faith and hope with all of them.
