22 June 2022

Žilina, Slovakia - June 2022 - The Salesian Higher Institute "St. Joseph" in Žilina, Slovakia, organized on June 1 a conference dedicated to the start-ups of young entrepreneurs. Several former student, now entrepreneurs, as well as some of the institute's current students, talked about their experiences and personal stories of how they got started in business, what obstacles they encountered, where they found the strength to get back up in the case of partial failure, and how they managed not to give up in the face of difficulties. The speakers shared their plans for the future and touched on their personal lives as well. The purpose of the conference was to make a connection between the already established alumni-entrepreneurs and the young entrepreneur-students of the Salesian school and to present the ideas and experiences of the alumni entrepreneurs to the students so that they can be a source of inspiration for them. The meeting was attended by alumni from various business sectors, such as, food, events, security, cleaning, furniture, and graphics.
