Venezuela - Second Session of Provincial Chapter
Los Teques, Venezuela - July 2022 - The "Saint Luke" Province of Venezuela (VEN) held the second session of the 2022 Provincial Chapter at "Villa Don Bosco in La Macarena" from June 26 to July 2. It was moderated by the Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr. Jorge Bastidas. Amid moments of prayer, discussion, reflection, and, above all, making important decisions, 30 Salesian Chapter members and 10 lay people committed to the mission, together with the VEN Provincial, Fr. Rafael Montenegro, analyzed issues related to: Youth Ministry, Vocations Pastoral Care, pastoral educational experiences, family pastoral care, and missionary youth volunteerism. Thanking everyone for their active participation, Fr. Montenegro invited them to live the decisions made with the awareness of being co-responsible for their implementation. The activities concluded, on Saturday, July 2, with the celebration of "Fidelity Day," where a large group of Salesians was thanked for their years of dedication to the work of Don Bosco.
