Vatican - President Mattarella pays homage to the body of Pope Francis
Vatican City, Vatican - April 2025 - On 22 April at the Santa Marta chapel, the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, paid homage to the body of Pope Francis. Afterwards came the President of the Senate of the Italian Republic, Ignazio La Russa; the Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri; the Chief Rabbi of Rome, Riccardo Di Segni.
