RMG – A new series of videos from Mission Sector: "CaglieroLIFE"

10 February 2021

(ANS - Rome) - The Missions Sector of the Salesian Congregation plans to release tomorrow, 11 February - the monthly anniversary of the mission day - the first video of a new series entitled CaglieroLIFE. Lasting just about a minute, the videos will present a theme or a feature linked to the month's Salesian intention. "We hope they can be used as a useful tool for animation, discussion and sharing within the various youth groups. The idea is that the videos complement the paper missionary bulletin Cagliero11 and the missionary prayer intentions as an integral part of the project," explained Fr Pavel Zenisek, of the Sector team.

The theme of the February 2021 video is PROTECTION. Protection as prevention and support against all types of violence, especially against women.

The name of the feature column, instead, CaglieroLIFE aims to highlight the relationship with Cagliero11 and with the aspects of concrete life (LIFE), a life that is always looking forward. At the same time, the name also recalls a play on words, accentuating the broadcast of the live video (LIVE).

The videos are made thanks to the collaboration with the "Don Bosco Intuition Entertainers Media" (DBIEM - www.dbiem.org) in France and are produced in different formats to be used both for high resolution projection and for sharing on social networks (WhatsApp, Facebook).

There will be five language variants: English, Italian and French in the spoken edition, in addition to the English versions with subtitles in Spanish and Portuguese. It will be possible to view and request the videos, starting tomorrow, on:
